Cannes Lions
Dates 15th June
During Cannes Lions, I had the opportunity to work with Disney, supporting the creative vision of Victoria Comp and the wider 2influence team. My role was to help bring each space to life through styling, merchandising and the meticulous finishing touches that make an event feel effortless. Every detail mattered, and I was responsible for ensuring each area was perfectly prepared before guests arrived.
The work was incredibly varied. I helped set up the Disney suites at the Hôtel Martinez for a series of meetings, working closely with Victoria to ensure everything was ready for the Disney team and their clients. This included styling the spaces, arranging furniture, positioning flowers, dressing the rooms and making sure every detail reflected the high standards expected of the brand.
I also prepared the bar area at the Martinez for a programme of talks, carefully arranging the seating to give every guest a clear view of the stage, positioning props, checking presentation details and ensuring the room felt welcoming and polished before each session began.
Outside the hotel, I helped prepare the beach venue for one of Disney’s key events, before moving on to Medusa, where I was responsible for helping get everything ready for the evening party. Each venue presented different challenges, requiring flexibility, organisation and an eye for detail.
A House Begins to Feel Like Home

Today I worked alongside an interior decorator on a home that means a lot to my client. She had found the plot herself and built the house from scratch, determined to create a new space that still carried the warmth and character of her old home. My part was the finishing touches, placing furniture, laying rugs, hanging artwork. Adjusting and readjusting, styling until each room felt balanced and welcoming. It was such a privilege to help shape the final feel of a home she had envisioned from the ground up, and seeing it all come together So she could walk in and feel instantly at home was genuinely satisfying. A really rewarding day.
The Art of Styling a Home for Sale

I was in East Sussex helping to prepare a beautiful home for sale. This kind of work is about so much more than just tidying. It’s really about thoughtful styling so that when a potential buyer walks in, they can instantly imagine themselves living there. We considered every detail – furniture placement, lighting, artwork… and even added some fresh roses cut from the garden, which just gave it some personality and a really special touch.
The photoshoot really benefits from this kind of careful preparation because for most people, their first impression of a home happens on a screen. That’s why these details matter so much. They set the tone before anyone has even stepped through the door.
Preparing a Gloucestershire Home for Its Next Chapter

Every project is different, and this one in Gloucestershire was a reminder that even the smaller jobs can make a big difference. The sentimental and valuable items had already been shared out within the family. and I was brought in to help sort out everything that was left quickly and sensitively, so that the property could be rented out.
So we worked through all the remaining items together, carefully deciding what could be sold, what should go to charity, and what had simply reached the end of its life. It was quite a small task, but it marked a really important milestone for the client. Often it’s not the physical work that feels overwhelming for people. It’s having someone alongside them to make those decisions with and keep things moving forward. By the end of the day, the house was ready for its next chapter.
Hanging Artwork That Makes a House Feel Like Home

Today’s work reminded me how the last layer, the artwork really anchors a home. Working alongside my picture hanger of six years, I felt again that ease that comes from trusting someone’s eye. We laid out the pieces, talked quietly about what might live where, and made space for the client wishes. It wasn’t just about balance or symmetry, but about story, hers. By late afternoon, I noticed that shift. The house exhaled and began to feel lived in. Not styled. Not staged. Just quietly hers. And that, felt like the real finish.
Ireland a House Full of Happy Memories

After landing in beautiful Ireland, I was reminded once again just how warm and welcoming the people here are. There is such a genuine kindness that makes arriving for a new project feel like coming among friends.
This week’s client has less than a month before the move, so there is a great deal to achieve in a very short space of time. A few years ago, much of the furniture was taken to London, yet every room is still filled with possessions collected over a lifetime. This is far more than a straightforward house move. The contents of the home are being divided between two properties in Ireland, while a separate shipment will be travelling back to England for the children. There are many moving parts, and careful planning will make all the difference.
One of my favourite parts of the process is using my colour-coded stickers. As soon as a decision is made, the destination is written on the sticker and attached to the item. It sounds simple, but it removes uncertainty immediately. No one has to revisit the same decision over and over again, and the whole project begins to gather momentum.
One of the part I have been looking forward to most is opening cupboards that have not been explored for years is always fascinating. Hidden away are the pieces that have been forgotten, overlooked or simply tucked aside during busy lives. They often hold the greatest stories and, occasionally, the greatest surprises.
The practical side is already well underway too. Auction houses have been contacted for specialist pieces, while Facebook Marketplace is being used to its full potential for everyday furniture and household items.
These projects are never just about moving belongings. They are about bringing clarity to what can feel overwhelming and creating a clear path towards a new beginning.
Preparing For a Move With Children
10th August
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping clients get ready for a move. It is a balance of giving them space and guidance to choose what really matters to take with them into the next chapter. Today was a really satisfying day, working alongside my client’s two children as they transformed their rooms.
We started in my client’s daughter’s room. She was excited by the idea of selling clothes she no longer wore on Vinted to save towards buying new ones.
Together we sorted through her wardrobe, set books aside for charity, bagged up cuddly toys that were no longer wanted, and organised old schoolwork. By the end of the morning everything had a home and the room felt calm and tidy. We then moved on to her ten-year-old son’s room. He decided he no longer wanted his Lego, so we sorted that along with his clothes and separated out items for charity, for selling and for disposal.
By the end of the day we had cleared several bin bags and filled a car with items for charity. Best of all though, both children genuinely enjoyed the process.
Glitter and Cables
16th August
When you are asked by a DJ to sort out his wardrobe, you know it is going to be a little bigger and with more glitter and feathers than usual!
This job was about more than clothes. We worked through the house, organising everything so that it flowed and most importantly, so he could actually find what he needed. Cables and equipment were sorted into clear, logical places alongside all the camping kit needed for life away at festivals.
There was a lot to work through but the most important thing was creating a system that made sense to him. By the time I left, everything had its place and was clear, accessible and easy to find because good organisation has to keep working long after I have gone.
